After the autumn half-term, I will be tutoring at 'The Bookery' in Crediton High Street every Saturday. There are four slots available, for one-to-one or small groups. Reserve your slot - click here for my contact details - by Monday 26 October.

Course Information

When are the courses?

The autumn half-term courses begin on Saturday 7 November, and run every Saturday until Saturday 12 December (a total of 6 sessions). There are four slots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Slot 1: 9.30am -10.30am

  • Slot 2: 10.45am - 11.45am

  • Slot 3: 12.15pm - 1.15pm

  • Slot 4: 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Who are the courses for?

All courses will be personalised to meet the individual needs of your child, whether they find English difficult and are aiming for a Grade 4 or 5, or feel more confident and are aiming for a Grade 6 or 7 (or higher!). I aim for all my tutees to achieve the greatest possible progress in English, and be fully prepared for their next assessment or exam.

I do not only offer GCSE tuition: if your child is in Year 7, 8 or 9, taking the Edexcel Pearson English Language GCSE resit at Exeter College or English Language A-Level, I can provide tailored support, as well.

What are the course fees?

The course fees depends on the number of students in a group.

  • Individual tutoring: £60 per lesson

  • Group of two: £35 per student per lesson

  • Group of three: £25 per student per lesson

  • Group of four: £20 per student per lesson

Courses are booked as a block for the full half-term, with payment kindly requested by the start of the second lesson.

How do I reserve a slot?

Just contact me by email or phone - click here for my contact details - to discuss how I can support your child and reserve a slot.

Students wishing to study in groups usually come with friends, so groups are usually formed without my intervention.

Where does the tutoring take place?

In the meeting room in the Work Hub at 'The Bookery' (21 High Street, Crediton EX17 3AH)
